FORbEST – Safeguarding Carbon and Biodiversity across European Forest Ecosystems through Multi-actor Innovation
FORbEST is a Horizon Europe research and innovation project that aims to transform how forests are monitored, governed, and managed. By bridging fundamental science with practical implementation, and by integrating ecological, social, and economic dimensions, the project will deliver actionable guidance for building resilient, climate‑adaptive, and biodiversity‑rich forest landscapes aligned with European and global sustainability goals.
